Vector Architect is a vector editor for creating XAML graphics. XAML is flexible markup language capable of expressing vector graphics in a compact form. This new format is used extensively throughout various parts of .NET 3 and above. Vector graphics created in XAML can be used for application icons, user interface controls, animation objects, and much more. XAML images are the primary source of vector graphics in many of the next-generation interfaces including desktop WPF applications, embedded WPF applicaitons, web-based Silverlight applications, and XBAP browser applications. Vector-based images allow your user interfaces to scale to any resolution, and permit runtime access of image elements for animation and user interaction. Vector Architect creates and manipulates native XAML graphics objects with no conversion between formats. By editing native XAML objects, you can feel confident that the graphics you design will be rendered perfectly within their destination environment.

Vector Architect provides an easy-to-use user interface for vector graphic manipulation.

Detailed curve editing allows precise vector placement and movement.

Streamlined controls allow full stroke, fill, and gradient editing without opening extra dialogs or leaving the main designer.

Exporting allows you to use your vector works virtually anywhere. Convert your vector creations to raster images, such as PNG, or automatically generate icons containing your choice of image sizes.

Composite shapes provide an easy way to create intricate figures.

Get quick results using tools to create polygons, stars, or any of the included preset shapes.
